Benefits to Buying a New Construction Home

Conner Homes is proud of our legacy of building premier homes for the Pacific Northwest homebuyer since 1959 and today’s new construction offers more benefits than ever before. Here are just a few:

A BRAND NEW HOME

Buying a newly built Conner Home provides you a clean slate with a bright and welcoming experience from the moment you walk in the front door. Our homes offer wide-open floor plans, large windows for natural light, and tall ceilings that give a spaciousness you can’t always find in an existing home.

Plus, with a new Conner home, you can add your own personal touches that fit your lifestyle. And you aren’t worrying about former buyers’ wear-and-tear or dealing with someone else's taste or mistakes.

LOW-COST MAINTENANCE

New construction homes come with a significant financial benefit: low maintenance costs as they are designed with more modern plumbing, appliances, heating, and air systems.

At Conner Homes, we build in accordance and often times above the latest building codes and safety regulations. With less to worry about and fewer unexpected out-of-pocket expenses after move-in, you can spend more time enjoying your new home and exploring your new community rather than making repairs and remodeling an existing home.

THE PROTECTION OF A HOME WARRANTY

In a newly built home, you have a new home warranty that begins from the closing date, offering peace of mind. At Conner Homes, we provide a three-part warranty program at no cost to you. It’s designed to provide coverage for the first year, then includes a two-year systems warranty that provides coverage for electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, and lastly, the third part involves our structural warranty. Since we are a local builder, our customer care team is located right here in Bellevue, Washington to help you with your customer care needs. Learn more about our warranty protection HERE.

ENERGY EFFICIENT WITH EARTH SENSE

New construction homes are built with more updated advances in construction materials and building practices, providing the benefit of reduced monthly utility bills. Most new construction homes have a tighter-sealed building envelope which helps reduce heat loss during winter and keeps your home cool during summer.

Conner Homes Earth Sense homes include 2X6 exterior wall construction (allowing more space for additional insulation which helps in reducing heat loss during winter and keeping your home cool during summer); low E Glass windows help block infrared light from penetrating the glass from the outside keeping your heating/cooling energy more efficient. ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES

When you purchase a newly constructed home versus a pre-owned home it may be able to accommodate more advanced technologies such as structured wiring, security systems, whole house wiring for technology for today’s televisions, phones, and internet.

At Conner Homes, we offer standard USB outlets in the kitchen and master bedroom. All of our homes are pre-wired for A/C and HVAC systems, Wi-Fi enabled garage door openers, and pre-wired smurf tubes in the living area and master bedroom to help conceal multiple cords used for TV systems. Our options include Deako smart lighting packages and electric vehicle charging stations.
