The Conner family has been building homes and neighborhoods in the Northwest since 1959. Over that time, we have built nearly 6,000 homes, including single-family homes, condominiums, and apartments. Home prices range from very affordable to highend. Regardless of price, every Conner home has much in common: extensive pre-planning, market research, meticulous field supervision, exacting attention to detail, careful cost control and superior after-sale service.

Charlie Conner | Owner and President
Charlie Conner started working for his father the summer of 1968 at age of 13 as a construction laborer. After receiving a finance degree from the University of Washington, Charlie joined full-time, working in all areas of the business, he purchased the company from his father in 2000. He is also broker for The Conner Real Estate Group, dedicated to selling Conner homes and neighborhoods.
Charlie is a Past President of the Issaquah Schools Foundation and Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties. He served on the boards of the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce and the Renton Community Foundation.
Charlie believes in education and the democratic process he encourages employee civic involvement. He is a director at the Freedom Foundation and supports many organizations fighting to preserve freedom, private property rights and the free enterprise system. He also supports local educational and philanthropic organizations including Vision House, Friends of Youth, Wellspring and Rays.
Bill Conner | Founder
Bill Conner holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington. He joined his brother John at Conner Construction Company in 1959. Since then Bill has been a member of the residential construction community, building for-sale and rental housing throughout the Puget Sound region. Bill retired in 1997.
The Conner companies built homes, apartments and condominiums, and rehabilitated historic hotels. The company was the pioneer of the “Zero Lot Line” concept in the Seattle area, and received numerous environmental, design and marketing awards.
Bill served as President of the Seattle Master Builders Association (SMBA) and the Washington State Home Builder’s Association. Bill served on many National Association Committees and local citizen boards. He was twice named “Builder of the Year” by the SMBA. In 1995, Bill was an inaugural inductee into the University of Washington Department of Building Construction Hall of Fame. He is a past board member of the Freedom Foundation and the Washington Policy Center.
Alan J. Boeker | Vice President — Chief Operating Officer
Alan is a seasoned expert in community development and homebuilding, particularly urban infill housing and innovative brownfield strategies, and has been active in the industry since 1985. Alan joined Conner Homes in August 2012 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Nevada and a Master’s of Business Administration in Real Estate from National University in San Diego.
Tony Ruiz | Senior Vice President/CFO
Tony has over thirty years of experience in accounting and finance. He started his career in public accounting and then moved into manufacturing. Tony has been in the home building industry since 2004 and joined Conner Homes in March 2010. Tony holds a degree in Business Administration (Accounting) from California State University of Long Beach.
Lori Chisman | Vice President — Sales, Marketing and Design
Lori graduated from Whittier College with a degree in Business Administration. Lori has over twenty years of experience in the home building industry beginning with entry-level administration position and working her way to Senior Management with Conner Homes.
Michael Knapp | Vice President — Construction
Mike has over twenty-five years in the industry in both residential and commercial construction. He joined Conner Homes in April 2010. Mike heads the construction, purchasing and estimating departments in addition to managing several of our large south-end projects.
Michael Lorenz | Senior Vice President — Land Acquisition
Michael has been actively involved in the residential real estate market in the Puget Sound since 1993. He holds a planning degree from Iowa State University. He has worked for Quadrant Homes, Richmond American Homes and DR Horton leading the land acquisition department for those companies. Michael joined Conner Homes in November of 2015.
Aron Golden | Vice President of Planning and Entitlements
Aron is responsible for entitlements, directs civil design to permits and final plat processing. He joined Conner Homes in 2014. He graduated from University of Wisconsin with a degree in history and a certificate in Real Estate Development from University of Washington.
