Conner Homes FAQs

FAQs

Here are some answers to the most commonly asked questions. Please let us know if we can answer anything further.

We are currently not doing presales, but some communities will offer homes that will provide the opportunity to be able to make surface selections (finishes such as flooring and counter choices). We also have designer selected homes for sale – where all options and finishes have been hand selected by an interior designer. These homes offer a simple move-in ready option with the highest level of finishes and colors.

Yes, each of our communities has a model home. Office hours vary so be sure to check our website for details. You can also make an appointment to tour the model and meet with a Sales Representative by calling 1-888-302-1252.

Our Trusted Lenders themselves typically offer a Buyer Bonus; the amount of which varies by Community due to pricing, and are subject to change.

As a Builder, we will occasionally have a promotion that offers a Buyer Bonus for using one of our Trusted Lenders. In addition, the Earnest Money using a Trusted Lender is usually significantly less (approx. 50% less) than using an outside lender. This is because the lenders we work with are very familiar with our processes and have a track record of closing on time. There are also no penalties for delays in closing when using a Trusted Lender, whereas an outside lender purchase is subject to a per diem penalty.

We respect and accept the brokerage community. While there is no specific incentive for not having broker representation, buying direct from us is a simple process. All contracts and documents are drafted internally by the Conner Sales Team, and we are able to walk you through the process. Direct communication with our Team also helps prevent any miscommunication or misunderstanding. If you already have a broker working with you, we do have a Registration Policy that requires your Broker to be registered on your first visit. Commission paid to outside brokers varies by community. Please be sure you and your broker understand those terms prior to signing a Purchase and Sale Agreement.

No. As a trusted homebuilder for over 60 years, we have a vested interest in selling homes to owners who plan to live and maintain their home to our standards. In addition, every homeowner association (by community) has varied guidelines that require you to live in the home for a specific amount of time. These are spelled out in the CC&R’s for any given community. Typically, homes must be owner-occupied for one year before allowing it to be a rental property.
